Undergraduate Admission Requirements
Following are general admission requirements for major and minor in Business Administration at School of Business, Montclair State University. Following requirements are applied to all students entering School of Business, however if you are a prospective student (who is currently not accepted to Montclair State University), please contact Undergraduate Admission office to find more information about application and general Montclair State University admission requirements.
Major in Business Administration Requirements
- You have completed at least 12 semester hours at Montclair State University, with an overall GPA of at least 2.75 in those courses.
- You have at least a 2.75 GPA in the following four(4) courses or authorized equivalents
- Math 114 - Mathematics for Business II - Calculus
- ENWR 105 - College Writing I: Intellectual Prose
- ENWR 106 - College Writing II: Writing and Literacy Study
- ECON 101 - Principle of Economics: Macro
Note:
- Transfer students who have completed all the above requirements prior to entering Montclair State University do not need to complete the mandated 12-semester hour requirement.
- ECON 102 - Principle of Economics: Micro may be used in place of ECON 101
Minor in Business Administration
Eligibility Requirements
A minimum overall GPA of 2.75 is required for all students in any major (Business Majors are not eligible to apply).
