The goal of the Montclair State University MBA program is to combine sound business concepts with practical applications, giving students the skills to be competitive and effective managers in the global economy. This builds a strong foundation for immediate as well as long-term professional growth.
Our MBA is especially suitable for busy professionals who work full-time, with convenient evening and weekend schedules. Students and alumni tell us that the seminar-style classes (maximum enrollment is 25) and the friendly, informal atmosphere are major strengths of the program, both for active learning and networking: each student has the opportunity to shape the MBA experience.
Montclair State MBA alumni are well-rounded, self-motivated and employed in many of the best companies in the region. Equipped with an education built on standards of excellence, our alumni enjoy tremendous opportunities for rich and rewarding careers.
Both full- and part-time study options are available. Because we actively seek a diverse student body, all previous academic majors are considered for admission to the MBA Program.
We also offer an accelerated Saturday-only cohort MBA program, which allows completion of the degree in just two years; classes are held at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey.
The MBA/ MS in Chemistry dual-degree program is for individuals with bachelor's degrees in Chemistry or Biochemistry who wish to advance their careers in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The MS in Accounting is for individuals with undergraduate degrees in Accounting who wish to sit for the CPA examination in New Jersey, and prefer a specialized curriculum of accounting, taxation and law courses.
Post-MBA certificates also are available in Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing, and MIS.
