Everyone in business manages at some point or another. Whether it is managing people, a project, operations, or a property, students in Management develop the knowledge and skills required to plan, organize, lead, and control businesses. Students are provided with the opportunity to develop managerial skills in human resources management, small business management, interpersonal relations, and strategic management.
Management skills are important throughout the organization. For this reason, many Business students choose Management as a second concentration. Due to the flexibility in the requirements for the Management concentration, it is not difficult to pair Management with a concentration in Marketing, Finance or International Business.
Management graduates are prepared for careers in a wide variety of enterprises. Recent graduates have found positions in private sector industries such as pharmaceutics, insurance, and banking, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
