Studies have shown that most top executives have a background in finance. The Department of Economics & Finance offers students the opportunity to study wide ranging aspects of modern finance.
The finance discipline can be classified into three major areas: investments, corporate finance, and markets and institutions. This program provides students with an understanding of the financial implications inherent in virtually all business decisions. The departmental faculty has a diverse range of professional experiences and interests that enrich the classroom experience. We prepare our students for careers in corporate management, depository institutions, and financial services.
