Kevin is the Americas Regional Leader for Global International Corporate Tax and an International Tax partner in our Washington National Tax Practice (WNT), physically based in the Short Hills, New Jersey office. He was elected to the KPMG LLP Board in 2012. Kevin is among the firm’s most experienced and best known U.S. based international tax partners, with more than 25 years of experience serving many of KPMG’s largest multinational clients. From 2000 forward, Kevin held various leadership positions within the U.S. and Global tax practices. In addition to managing a large group of partners and professionals during this period, Kevin continued to advise large U.S. and foreign-based multinationals on cross-border transactions to achieve effective tax rate, treasury, financing and capital planning efficiency.
Kevin has extensive experience in: the design and implementation of tax efficient supply chain planning; cross-border financing; cash repatriation; foreign tax credit planning; cross-border acquisition and disposition planning; and other effective tax rate planning projects.
Kevin joined KPMG in 1989 and was admitted to the partnership in 1995. Prior to joining the firm, he spent three years at Ernst & Whinney. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Seton Hall University of Law since 2010. An active member of the community, Kevin is a Member of the Practice Council to the New York University School of Law, International LL.M. Program, a Member of the School of Business Advisory Board at Montclair State University and is a member of the board of trustees of Turning Point, Inc., a not-for-profit rehabilitation organization based in Paterson, New Jersey. Kevin holds CPA licenses in the States of New Jersey and New York and is also a member of the Bar in both States. He is a member of the AICPA, ABA, New York State Bar Association and the tax sections of each organization. Kevin holds a Masters of Laws degree in taxation from New York University (1993), a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law (1989), and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Montclair State University (1984). Kevin is also a graduate of the KPMG Chairman’s 25 leadership development program.
